gas is down but?
By Preston Dean of green stability
Well here lately the price of gas has dropped pretty significantly and the gas station near me is down to around $1.50 per gallon. But for some reason the price of cigarettes and beer has jump up by around 50 cents per purchase. Now granted the high price of gas has driven up the cost on many items purchased, groceries, goods, services, and this is understandable. But with the lower prices in fuel wouldn't it seem that prices should drop instead of raise. I feel this is an attempt to increase profit margins on other items now that they cannot justify the high fuel prices they were charging! Hmmmm!...if you cant gouge me one way, gouge me another i guess...pretty ridiculous in my book!
